From Infidelity to Double Murder

In the investigative field, many cases begin with what appear to be straightforward concerns. One of the most common is suspected infidelity. At AIP Investigations, these cases account for approximately 25% of incoming requests.

In one such case, a wife contacted us with a belief that her husband was engaged in an extramarital relationship. As with all assignments, the objective was simple: determine the truth using lawful, professional surveillance.

During the course of the investigation, we obtained clear photographic evidence of the husband and the suspected paramour. The two were observed engaging in prolonged physical affection, including kissing and hugging for several minutes. The documentation provided the client with definitive answers regarding the relationship.

At that point, the case concluded in the same manner many infidelity investigations do—with clarity that allows the client to make informed personal and legal decisions.

However, this case did not end there.

Several years later, AIP Investigations was served with a search warrant by local law enforcement in connection with that same individual. The husband had been charged in a double homicide involving the former paramour and her new boyfriend.

What began as a domestic concern had evolved into a serious criminal matter—an outcome no one could have reasonably predicted at the time of the original investigation.
